T.A. McCann - Host
Managing Director at Pioneer Square Labs, a startup studio and venture capital fund, located in Seattle, Washington. His past experience includes founding, Senosis (phone-based clinical diagnostics testing, acquired by Google), Rival IQ (competitive intelligence for digital marketers), Gist (social address book, acquired by Blackberry), Vulcan Labs and 3 other companies. Prior to Vulcan, he held senior positions at Microsoft, focused on email and mobile communications. He currently serves on the board of Volt Athletics (personalized, sport-specific strength training), Splash (clean water for poor, urban communities) and the UW Center for Entrepreneurship. In addition to his deep technology background, T.A. attended Purdue University on a full swimming scholarship, has won sailing’s America’s Cup and sailed around the world.
He remains an active and competitive athlete and spends too much time and money experimenting with the latest technology to improve health and/or human performance.
